Three separate clients had their felony charges thrown out per negotiations this week. I was able to obtain reduced misdemeanor charges. They also received court supervision so the charge will be fully dismissed.

My client shot another person one time. The other person had been acting as if he was going to attack my client. He had reached for his waistline as if he had a firearm and my client shot one time. The state has come off the 1st Degree Offer and has extended and offer of 2nd Degree Murder.

Two clients in Macoupin County have had their suspensions terminated per negotiations with the State.

I negotiated a termination of the DUI suspension last week with the State for one of my clients.

My client was stopped by ISP and his money was seized. The State began a forfeiture case against him. We conducted a probable cause hearing and won. He received his money back within two weeks.

My client was represented by another attorney. She told him to waive his detention hearing. Bad idea. We took the case over and got him released.

A client who was in the Dept. of Corrections due to a parole violation based upon a new charge of Agg. Domestic Battery got his case dismissed.

My client was arrested after a loaded handgun was discovered in his car after a traffic stop. We negotiated a dismissal of the felony charge.

Two clients in Macoupin County were able to avoid a conviction on their second DUI charge.

Hannah and I tried a client's case the first week of December. We won all the felony charges. He was sentenced to probation on the misdemeanor he was conviction of.

I tried six Agg. Criminal Sex Assaults, two felony Agg. Domestic Batteries, two misdemeanor batteries, and an Unlawful Restraint charge for my client in Clinton County.

My client was on probation for methamphetamine and received multiple new charges for various theft related felonies. We were able to get probation for him.

Mr. Payne was charged with Agg. Battery and Mob Action. We tried the case and won.
