Battery Charge Dismissed in Madison County per negotiations

On December 2, 2024 my client entered into a diversion agreement with the state wherein the charge will be dismissed in one year. She did not have to plead guilty to any offense.

Ms. Gary-Turner was charged with a felony Agg. UUW after her daughter refused to leave her residence. We announced ready for trial and at the final pretrial setting the state dismissed the charge.

My client was facing a variety of charges. His public defender could get him no less than 12 years at 75% I took over his case and ended up with a six year sentence at 50% plus over a year of good time.

My client was struck from behind on I-255 and called 9-1-1. The police arrived and arrested him for DUI. We were able to get the DUI dismissed

My client received a DUI in Edwardsville. She submitted a breath sample of .094. We got both the DUI dismissed and the Suspension Rescinded

Mr. Brewer was a prior sex offender and was alleged to have committed a wide variety of sex offenses against a family member. The state offered 20 years in prison. We ultimately obtained probation for him on a greatly reduced charge.

Mr. Brewer was charged with a variety of drug offenses including Class X Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine. We negotiated probation.

Mr. Payne was charged with four felony counts for Agg. Assault of a Peace Officer and Obstruction of Justice. We conducted a jury trial. He was convicted of three counts and found not guilty of the fourth. This is my 138th jury trial

Mr. Wilson was charged with Agg. DUI with Fatality in 2023. He reached an agreement with the State on 9/4/24.

Multiple clients received dismissals on the August 2, 2024 traffic docket per negotiations.

My client was charged with DUI after failing field testing. He is over 65 years of age. The state agreed that field tests are not valid after that age and dismissed his case.

My client was charged with UUW after a neighbor stated she pointed a firearm at her. We obtained a dismissal of the charge.

My client was charged with child endangerment after she allowed a registered sex offender to care for the child. We negotiated a dismissal of the charge.
